Benefits of getting a treatment from Dharshan

Dharshan is a mindful Practitioner who works intuitively. As a child, he developed an understanding of energy and continues to explore its innate potential. It was during a family trip to India, his ancestral country, at the age of nine, that he discovered an article on reflexology which planted the first seeds on his journey to become a practitioner. Later, he met Michelle Siebert who facilitated his learnings and after completing a Diploma through the American Institute of Reflexology, a journey of self-discovery and adventure began to unfold.

Exploring this fascinating world of mind, body and spirit, he realised that they were inseparable. He practised with the various modalities and in so doing begun unlocking his own talents and spiritual endeavour, which in turn facilitate both his needs and those of his patients.

Dharshan gained his qualifications in Australia, India, Nepal, New Zealand, South Africa, Swaziland, USA, and Zimbabwe and has been practising for almost 15 years.

While Dharshan works, space can be created that is comforting and safe for clients to explore their true essence while they discover the best version of themselves. More recently, Dharshan has attended mindfulness based Hakomi seminars with Dr Suhari Mommsen-Bohm (Otago), John Perrin (Perth) and Jules Morgaine (Hawke’s Bay) and a MBSR mindfulness seminar with Janet Solyntjes (Colorado). He continues to explore this intriguing aspect of mindfulness experiences. This has allowed his work to continue to expand, facilitating new learnings for him and his patients.

With the help of Meditation and Hakomi techniques - for example, mindfulness – we can study our habits and ways of being in the world which may create suffering. By accessing these subconscious beliefs we are allowing understanding and insight to arise, which then enables us to make choices, through which healing may come.

People come to Dharshan to explore emotional and physical discomfort. They receive naturopathic treatment through Bach flower essences, reflexology, meditation and reiki, or are invited to explore with the help of NLP and their own inner processes, creating empowerment and well-being for themselves.

Another dimension of Dharshan’s work, has been the pleasure of working with mums, dads and their babies, children and teenagers. As a father of a eighteen year old daughter, Dharshan lives in Wellington where he enjoys tramping, falconry and discovering the great outdoors of New Zealand!
