Using long, gliding strokes toward the heart Sybill seeks to relax the body, improve oxygenation of the blood, detox the muscles, aid in flexibility and range of motion.
Trigger Point Massage
Trigger points are a system of points mapped out over the body that are known to be painful for many people. They often have referral pattern (the pain radiates to or from these points when pressure is applied). They also have many correlations with acupuncture points. To alleviate the pain associated with these stubborn muscle knots, your therapist uses cycles of pressure and release on the point. This technique can be used in conjunction with a therapeutic or deep tissue massage.
